In such a agreeable autumn of September when the fruits are letting out their fragrance, the beautiful Taiyuan ushered in many a honorable guests. With the 18th Party Congress approaching, on Sep 16 morning, China (Taiyuan) International Industry Expo 2012 in the theme of “” inaugurated in. Mr.Li Keqiang, Member of CPC Politburo’s Standing Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council sent a letter of congratulation. Mr.Hua Jianmin, Vice Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee presented the opening ceremony and announced the kick off. Mr.Yuan Chunqing, Secretary of Shanxi Provincial CPC Committee, Director of the Shanxi Provincial NPC standing committee and Honorary Director of the Organizing Committee, and Mr. Gao Hucheng, World Trade Negotiation Representative and Vice Minister of Ministry of Commerce addressed the ceremony. Mr.Wang Jun, Deputy Secretary of Shanxi Provincial Party Committee, Governor of Shanxi Province and Director of the Organizing Committee presided over the opening ceremony and read out the letter of congratulation from Vice Premier Li Keqiang. Mr.Wang Xinping, Deputy Secretary of TISCO’s CPC Committee took the lead of TISCO’s delegation and attended the ceremony.
China (Taiyuan) International Industry Expo is the sole State Council approved internationalized professional exhibition of national level in the energy field. CIIE is cosponsored by The People’s Government of Shanxi Province, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Science and Technology, National Energy Administration and being held biennially. This session will last 3 days comprising exhibition, peak forum, investment & trade, etc. Featuring elaboration and professionalization, 192 companies and 12 thousand guests from 39 countries will participate the event in 8 exhibition areas.
In recent years, investing 8.2 BRMB in 87 key projects of energy saving and emission reduction or circular economy, TISCO stressed on eco-protection and eco-development to the resources and environment by way of industrial construction of circular economy and by means of green process equipment, green manufacture procedure, green product and green environment. The consequent production and profit could increase 2.4 BRMB and 0.9 BRMB each year. In this regard, TISCO has built it into a green and urban orientated steel company realizing mutual function compensation and harmony & integration. The 9 key technologies of circular economy of TISCO, namely dry method dust collection of blast furnace gas, coke oven coal moisture control, dry quenching, desulfurization & denitration of sintering smog for acid making, reclaim of ferruginous byproduct, steel slag treatment, fertilizer from steel slag, desulfurization & acid making from coke oven gas and dual-hearth vertical kiln, have attracted extensive attention from domestic and world companies.
The display area of TISCO characterized with 9 circular economies or technologies and deep processing of SS outlined the strong resolution of TISCO for urban orientated steel plant. On the LED screen in the area, the information about TISCO and its 9 circular economies or technologies is aired vividly; on the touch screen, the practice about TISCO’s green development is showed by E-journal easily accessible by a slight click., and documents of all sort could be found conveniently and fashionably. Vividly depicting the important applications of SS in the production and daily life were the docking processes models of Tiangong-1 & Shenzhou-9, the folding screens, tables and chairs, go pieces, ornaments and all sorts of high end facilities, particularly the anti-microbial kitchenware heavily promoted as the sole product in China, which was a real exquisitely eye-catching kitchenware product. Strong R&D force and unique competitiveness of TISCO have been revealed from all these exhibits.
During the days of the exhibition, business persons and participants of the conference visited TISCO area in crowds, many of which showed deep interest to the new products or technologies and asked documents about them. The simple & characterized exhibition layout of TISCO area, and the life correlated exhibits have be highly commented by the guests.
Following the opening ceremony, Mr.Wang Xinping took the lead in participation of CIIE’s peak forum, which was in the theme of “Leapfrog Transition, Innovative Promotion and Green Expansion”.
