TISCO Won Awards of Science & Technology Conference of Iron & Steel Industry

Science & Technology Conference of Iron & Steel Industry was held recently in Beijing and awards were given to the winning units and individuals. TISCO Stainless and Technology Center won Advanced Unit of Science & Technology of Iron & Steel Industry of China; Zhang Zhifang, Deputy GM of TISCO Stainless won the honorary title of Outstanding Science & Technology Manager of Iron & Steel Industry of China; and Fan Guangwei and other 3 persons won the title of Outstanding Science & Technology Practitioner of Iron & Steel Industry of China. On the conference, TISCO was awarded 5 items of Metallurgical Science & technology Progress Award, including the 1st class award by Process Technique and Product Development and Application of Stainless Steel Car Plate for High Speed Train.
At the signing ceremony of Proposal for Strategic Cooperation of Promotion of Science & Technology Progress by Iron & Steel Industry, Zhang Zhifang, Deputy GM of TISCO Stainless signed the proposal on behalf of TISCO as the advocator.
Convened by China Iron and Steel Association and The Chinese Society for Metals, the conference expressed that the strategic opportunity has to be taken for the iron and steel industry of China to improve the global competitiveness centering around reinforced self-innovation capacity and making use of kingpin & leading function of the scientific and technological innovation in the process of industrial restructuring and transformational upgrading.
