TISCO Ranks the Front-runner of“Social Responsibility 100 Powers of China State-owned Enterprises”
On 21st Nov. , the releasing meeting 2012 Blue Paper of Enterprise Social Responsibility jointly sponsored by Economics Dept., Social Development Strategy Institute of China Academy of Sciences, and Literary Contributions Publishing Bureau of Social Science was held in Beijing, and Research Report of China Enterprise Social Responsibility（2012） compiled by Enterprise Social Responsibility Research Center of Economics Dept. of China Social Academy of Sciences and published by Literary Contributions Publishing Bureau of Social Sciences was released. TISCO was ranked 16th at“Social Responsibility of China State-owned Enterprise 100 Powers”，moved forward one rank compared with last year, 3rd rank in iron and steel field and 1st rank of local state-owned enterprises.
TISCO insists on producing high-end products based upon energy conservation and high efficiency idea as basic factor of performing social responsibility and continuing pushing forward technical creation and innovation and new product development to support Made in China；building the model of global green steel works as our objective and accelerating establishing the circulation economic chain including solid, liquid, gaseous wastes，extending to the city and society to realize harmonious coexisting of enterprise together with city, nature and society. At the same time, TISCO establishes a harmonious relationship with government, investor, employees, clients, suppliers, community, the public and non-government organization with the candid and responsible social citizen image of TISCO’s sincerity, observing the law and honesty, and become messenger of performing social responsibility and pushing forward the social harmonious development.
There are plenty of data and study cases in TISCO 2011 Annual Social Responsibility Report to detail the progress objectively and completely in terms of strengthening the mainstay industry，extending development, multi-variant development, green development and harmonious development，and it reflects the deep understanding and vivid practice TISCO takes social responsibility and TISCO is praised by relevant evaluation organs.
This is the fourth year in a row for China Academy of Social Sciences to release Blue Paper of Enterprise Social Responsibility, and the social responsibility information of state-owned enterprises 100 powers, private enterprises 100 powers and foreign enterprises 100 powers with total 300 powers were announced at the annual report of blue paper Development Index Report of China Enterprise Social Responsibility（2012）. More than 100 elites from Chinese government department, specialist agency, enterprise representatives and news media such as China Academy of Social Sciences, State Asset Regulatory Commission of the State Council, Asian Exchange Graduate School, China Enterprise Citizen Commission, WTO Economy Journal, and etc. attended the meeting.
