Li Xiaobo met with Zhang Keli, Party Secretary of CNMC Committee

TISCO Chairman Li Xiaobo met with party secretary of CNMG committee Zhang Keli, accompanied by TISCO President Gao Xiangming, on the afternoon November 29, 2012. Both sides talked about the progress of Tagaung Taung Nickel Project.
Li Xiaobo said, TISCO and CNMG had good cooperation in the project, TISCO is confident in the future development. He recalled his visit to Myanmar not long ago, saying that the factory is beautiful; JV Company has its team culture, high morale and bright prospect. He hopes that the JV Company, for the current nickel market, will optimize the production cost and process, improve project construction, enhance benchmarking and increase efficiency in order to have higher viability and competitiveness. He said that TISCO will continue to support the development of the project and perform its duties. He also hopes CNMC to continue with its policy support for the project.
Zhang Keli introduced the progress of the project, saying that during the construction, TISCO has done a lot of work; especially Chairman Li Xiaobo recently went to site giving valuable and guiding suggestions. TISCO has many experiences in resource exploitation and project construction, which can be used in the JV Company. Tagaung Taung Nickel Project has high grade nickel resource and better comprehensive benefit. We will take these advantages to cut down the cost and make profit as early as possible. CNMC will work together with TISCO for the good performance of the project and mutual benefits.
