Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co. Ltd. Entered into China Top 500 Enterprises

On July 16, Fortunechina.com released 2013 China’s Top 500 Enterprises list, Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co. Ltd. ranked 36th in the list. Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co. Ltd. ranked first among the 10 enterprises of Shanxi Province that entered into the list, and ranked 3rd among the steel enterprises of China that entered into the list.
The coverage of China’s Top 500 enterprises included all the Chinese companies that listed at home and abroad. The data on which it is based are the information officially disclosed at the respective stock exchange by the listed companies. This year, the threshold of China’s Top 500 Enterprises increased to 7.25 billion yuan, Sinopec and PetroChina ranked first and second in the list, respectively. With operating revenues of 103.515 billion yuan and profits of 1.106 billion yuan, Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co. Ltd. ranked 36th and moved up one place compared with last year. It is reported that 10 enterprises of Shanxi Province entered into China’s Top 500 Enterprises. Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co. Ltd., Shanxi Coal International Energy Group Co. Ltd. and Yang Quan Coal Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. of Shanxi Province were in the top 100 of the list.
This year, 4 steel enterprises entered into the top 50, among them, Baosteel ranked 22nd, Hebei Iron & Steel Group Co. Ltd. ranked 35th, Wuhan Iron and Steel Company Limited ranked 50th.
