TISCO Museum Park and TISCO History Museum Opened

On Aug. 8, the 80th anniversary of the founding of Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Group) Co. Ltd (TISCO), TISCO Museum Park and TISCO History Museum were officially open to the public, which presented a gift to 80th anniversary of the founding of TISCO.
Chairman of TISCO, Li Xiaobo, Secretary of TISCO Party Committee, Yang Haigui, jointly unveiled the plaque for TISCO History Museum. President of TISCO, Gao Xiangming, presided over the opening ceremony. The company leaders Hou Jinping, Zhang Zhifang, Wang Xinping, Wang Jiguang, Chai Zhiyong, Han Zhentang, Gao Jianbing, Wang Yide, Xie Li, Wang Baidong etc. took part in the opening ceremony。
Gao Xiangming expressed his thanks to the staff and constructors who had worked so hard during the construction of TISCO Museum Park and TISCO History Museum on behalf of TISCO and briefly introduced TISCO Museum Park and TISCO History Museum. He said that in the development of the past 80 years, TISCO created not only a large quantity of material wealth but also a valuable spiritual wealth. TISCO Museum Park and TISCO History Museum were built based on typical TISCO historical buildings and facilities, reflected TISCO’s development history, passed on TISCO’s corporate spirit and showed TISCO’s corporate image. The departments concerned should manage and operate them well and make further improvement and supplement to the museum contents in order to accurately and completely show TISCO’s development history and play a good role in the company history education and the international communication.
After the ceremony, the company leaders visited TISCO Museum Park and TISCO History Museum, went through TISCO’s glorious history to the largest stainless steel producer in the world from a small steel mills in northwestern China.
TISCO Museum Park occupies about 70000 m2, which integrates together the company history education, popularization of science, sightseeing and promoting the corporate image. TISCO History Museum shows TISCO’s introduction, soul of steel in northwestern China, the development of special steel, the stainless steel road, new strategic chapter, and green leap. The museum comprehensively exhibits TISCO’s development history by a lot of historic photos, historical relics and high quality products, as well as the hi-tech means such as digital sand table, virtual imaging multi-media interaction.
