The Quality Management System for Automotive Steel Successfully Renewed

After five-day site audit from Aug. 4 to 10 made by the audit-team experts from BSI Management Systems Certification (Beijing) Co., Ltd., TISCO successfully passed through the site audit for the recertification of the quality management system for Automotive Steel ISO/TS16949. This was the third recertification audit since TISCO was first certified in 2008 and recertified in 2011. Vice President of STSS, Gao Jianbing, and the leaders of the departments concerned took part in the first and the last audit meeting.
The audit-team experts audited TISCO’s business performance, marketing service, product design and development, production and manufacture, check test, control of rejected products, purchasing and storage, equipment maintenance, laboratory management, human resources, internal audit and management review by sampling method. The audit-team experts deemed that TISCO’s quality management system worked effectively and was conformed, correlated and suited with the scope of the certification, the new certificate was awarded.
Gao Jianbing said in the last audit meeting that quality management system is the important management support in TISCO. For the issues and the suggestions for improvements, the responsible departments and plants concerned should conduct rectification according to the requirements and make changes in the next audit. At the same time, the activities of the departments and plants concerned should combine with the requirements of the market and the customers.
Since the implementation of the quality management system, TISCO has been certified by many well-known automotive producers such as CNHTC, FAW Jiefang Automotive Co. Ltd., DFAC, Shaanxi Automobile Group Co. Ltd., Dalian Jinjiang etc. and is their qualified strategic supplier for automotive steels. TISCO’s production and sale volume of the automotive steels increases year by year. The domestic market share of TISCO’s automotive steel and high strength automotive steel is No. 1, which plays an active role for the continuing growth of economic benefits of TISCO.
