TISCO Signed Strategic Partnership Agreement with Welspun Corp. Ltd., India

On Nov. 14, BK Mishra, CEO of Welspun Corp. Ltd., India, and his party visited TISCO and signed the strategic partnership agreement with TISCO. President Of STSS Zhang Zhifang, Vice President Chai Zhiyong, Gao Jianbin and the responsible persons of the related departments received the guests in Taiyuan.
Welspun Corp. Ltd. is the largest pipe producer in India and ranks No.2 in the world. Since the establishment of the partnership with TISCO in 2007, it is the loyal user of TISCO’s API pipe steel and assists TISCO to get a number of quality certifications. Its purchase volume is on rise year by year.
During the meeting, Zhang Zhifang introduced TISCO’s R&D system and featured products. He said that TISCO is the largest stainless steel producer in the world with the most advanced technology and equipment. In recent years, TISCO actively promotes the Innovation-driven strategy, relies on technological innovation and develops a large number of high-end and quality products. Under the competitive market situation, the close combination of TISCO’s products with the manufacturing strength of Welspun Corp. Ltd. will benefit us to tap our respective advantages and increase our market shares. When he heard that TISCO’s featured products such as duplex stainless steel and axle steel were widely used in different sectors, BK Mishra praised again and again.
BK Mishra expressed his thanks for TISCO’s warm hospitality. He said that TISCO and Welspun Corp. Ltd. were faithful partners all the time. Since the cooperation in 2007, both sides have jointly explored the international market by making full use of the advantages of each other. The signing of the agreement will further take full advantages of TISCO’s product and Welspun’s market to expand the cooperation in the markets of India, Europe and North America and to improve the comprehensive competitiveness of both sides.
It is known that a good cooperative relationship has been established between TISCO and Welspun Corp. Ltd.. In order to enhance the cooperation level, the delegation from Welspun Corp. Ltd. focused on discussing about the purchase of TISCO’s products in the coming three years and sharing the information about potential project orders with TISCO.
