TISCO Got the First Pass to Movable Pressure Vessels Industry in China

Stainless steel produced by TISCO for movable pressure vessel was approved in the technical evaluation held by China Standardization Committee on Boilers and Pressure Vessels in March. This approval makes TISCO the first authorized producer in China to supply stainless steel grades as per foreign standards for domestic application of movable pressure vessel.
In the evaluation, totally 55 austenitic and duplex stainless steel grades get approval. Pressure vessel always requires properties like pressure resistance, corrosion resistance, high- and low- temperature resistance. Therefore, technical requirements to the material like deformation and welding are quite strict. In the evaluation, experts from the evaluation team commented as follows:” TISCO owns the proper equipment and technology required to produce the pressure vessel steel grades it applies for certification. The quality assurance system is well established and effectively implemented in the company. The steel plate produced according to standards of other countries but China as well as the sizes and specifications of these products are applicable to manufacture the movable pressure vessels which are to be used in China.”
For years, in the sector of stainless steel for movable pressure vessel, TISCO has developed matured production practices and stable customers. With the development of technology, pressure vessel industry has raised higher requirements to the material. According to new regulations, all the foreign stainless steel grades produced in China for use of movable pressure vessel must pass the technical evaluation organized by China Standardization Committee on Boilers and Pressure Vessels. To explore bigger markets, TISCO Marketing Dept. and Manufacturing and Quality Control Dept. jointly made one year’s effort to get the pass certification. The certification plays a significant role in richening product structure, expanding customers’ spectrum, and maintaining the leading market share in pressure vessel sectors.
Internal source revealed that the stainless steel produced by TISCO have been stably supplied to a well-known Chinese movable pressure vessel producers, with the volume added up to 60,000 tons.
