TISCO Strengthens the Rewards & Penalties in Technology and Quality Work

A Notice on Strengthened Impetus to Technology and Quality Work (the “Notice” for short) was issued by the company recently, as a part of the efforts to deeply implement the spirit of 2015 TISCO Technology and Quality Conference and quickly upgrade the company’s technology and quality work. How to further strengthen the rewards and penalties practice in technology and quality work are specified in the Notices.
 
In recent years, the practice of rewards & penalties, as an important management tool of the technology and quality work, has played a significant role as an impetus to staff’s enthusiasm and creativity and a booster to the progress of technology and quality. The 2015 TISCO Technology and Quality Conference pointed out that further strengthened rewards and penalties system should be applied to technology and quality work, and more efforts from all levels should be taken to create a well-knit atmosphere which calls for solidarity and serious attitude all around the company.
 
The notice defines a work team for strengthening the rewards & penalties practice, including all the units that function as the team leaders, deputy team leaders and team members. In terms of rewards, the potential grantees include all the individuals, teams and groups that have made outstanding contributions to the improvement of technology, variety and quality in the year of 2015, excluding the achievements in key projects named by the company, such as SBU and LHY. The Notice also specifies details of rewards. In terms of penalties, stricter management will be implemented in technology, variety and quality work. Those who are derelict in their duties, fail to do their jobs or do them irresponsibly will be punished seriously as per related regulations and rules. According to the Notice, no less than 1% of underperformed employees will be eliminated in the first and second half of a year separately.
