TISCO Vigorously Pushes Forward Its E-commercial Platform

A text message popped up in Wang’s mobile phone. It was a notice from TISCO Marketing Department. The message said that a batch of cold rolled stainless steel coil would be sold on TISCO e-commercial platform. As a royal customer of TISCO, Wang knew very well what to do. He logged in TISCO e-commercial platform and read carefully the specification of the goods. The next day, by clicking the mouse button, Wang bought 16 tons of cold rolled stainless steel coils as he wished.
      
Wang’s order is one of numerous e-commercial orders received by TISCO Marketing Department every day. The users who are registered to TISCO products e-commercial platform are informed by text message every afternoon on what will be sold online the next day. Then on next day, they can buy what they want online without stepping out their house. Till now, more than 600 users are registered to this service.
      
With e-commerce getting popular in recent years, TISCO also input a lot of effort in this new business mode. In March of 2014, an e-commerce team was set up in Marketing Department. The company cooperates with a platform well know in China to start the business. Besides, value-added services such as logistics service, on-line payment and on-line financing are also available to customers.
      
With the e-commercial platform, customers are able to look for products which are cost-effective, near to destination and easy to trade among all the available products. The platform offers customers transparent information, and producer maximized benefit. Detained goods are always something headache. Last year, an online auction function was set up on the platform to solve the problem. By this function, the detained goods were bought by those who need them. And by this function, the detained goods create value for both the producer and the customers.
The marketing department has never stopped the optimization of the platform. This year, it explored some more modes. Since May, the platform was added a delivery service, a new function to spare customers the trouble of finding a logistics company to deliver the goods they bought online. On June 2nd, the futures trade function was added, as another remarkable event following the online auction last year. The trade volume of futures dramatically picked up within 3 days and is expected to be more in the following days.
      
According to the source in marketing department, TISCO is planning to expand the delivery map of its logistic system to benefit more customers who are not covered at present. Besides, more services like deep processing, technical support and financing support will be added to the platform, which by then will be able to supply one-stop and comprehensive solutions to the customer.
