The Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspection and certification, finished site surveys to TISCO at Stainless Steel Hot Rolling Mill and Linfei Steel Plant days ago, with a result that TISCO successfully passed the review for certificate renewing.

 

TISCO was initially issued the BV certificate for stainless steel ship plates in 2006. To keep this qualification, the Manufacturing and QC Dept. of TISCO made a valid application for the certificate renewing before the expiry date. The renewing was finally done after documentation review and site survey.

 

Stainless steel ship plate is a product with high added value and high technology. In the market for stainless steel ship plate, the certificate from related classification societies in shipbuilding field is a prerequisite to access the market. Only the products certified by responding classification societies are allowed to be used by the shipbuilder, otherwise cannot be used in shipbuilding industry.
