Waste Gas Recovery #1 of 300MW Power Plant Starts Operation Smoothly

Recently, the Waste Gas Recovery #1 of 300MW Power Plant TISCO Starts operation smoothly. It is another important measure for energy conservation and emission reduction since the power plant achieved the super low emission last year. It is the first time for TISCO to put such equipment into successful use which playing a important role in energy saving and environment protection, as well as heaing in winter for local residents.

Recently, TISCO sticks to green development strategy by developing and producing groups of environment-friendly products with high efficiency, low energy, low emission, and long life. Since two sets of power plants were put into running in the later December, 2010, the low-nitrogen burners of the plants were modified in 2013 and 2014 respectively. To achieve the new environment-friendly target, the super low emission equipments were modified in 2015 with the lowest and strictest index in nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide and dust emission all over the world.

As a company with strong sense of social responsibility, TISCO set up to start the strategic project to lower the emission and save the energy in 2016 ----wast gas system further recovery (the remained heat of the wastegas before de-sulfur system of the power plant is recovered and re-used). As a significant measure to save enery in coal-burning power plant, this kind of projects are widely used in China. However, there are always some problems such as corrosion of heat exchanger, pipe blockage and etc. which troubling the customers and hampering long term steady operation of the system. To solve the problems, by cooperation with Wasail, TISCO has sucessfully developed the straight-channel steam-water heat exchanger, which been used in power plant for the first time. It takes dual-phase stainless stell of TISCO as key raw material with the properties of high heat transfer efficiency (the recycled heat is over two times than that in other power plant) and resistance to corrosion, dust and abrasion.
