TISCO is nominated as the electromagnetic pure iron supplier to the aerospace engineering

Marking the successful end of the second step of the “3-Step Strategy” of China’s manned space flight project, China’s first cargo spacecraft “ Tianzhou I” was launched from Wenchang Satellite Launch Center in Hainan province on April 20 after series of the China’s laboratory space flight missions last year including “Tiangong II”, “Shenzhou XI” and “Long March 5”. In doing so, TISCO was keeping writing the new chapter in this saga of steel legend --- various of types of materials were successfully applied to the key part of the “Tiangong II”, “Shenzhou XI” , “Long March 5” and “ Tianzhou I”, among them, electromagnetic pure iron was famous for its frequent appearance.
 
What kind of material is the electromagnetic pure iron? Actually, electromagnetic pure iron is a type of high quality steel containing over 99.5% of iron with quite low content of remained elements and featuring with soft texture, strong toughness, easy process and high electromagnetic performance. Based on its magnetic property, the electromagnetic pure iron can be classified into three grades: DT4A, DT4E and DT4C. Based on various applications, the electromagnetic pure iron can be classified into iron core purpose, soft magnetic purpose, electronic lock purpose, space instruments and military purpose, electron tube purpose and easy turning electrical purpose.
 
TISCO has a very long history of electromagnetic pure iron production dating back into 1960s. For over 50 years, TISCO broke through the manufacturing technological difficulties one by one, reached to the advanced international technologies, worked out a complete set of production process and produced series of products of various purposes, various grades and various types. In 1984, cold rolled sheet of electromagnetic pure iron manufactured in TISCO won the gold national prize. In 1991, special pure iron project of the Beijing Electron Positron Collider participated by TISCO won the special-class award of national technology progress.
 
In the new century, as China’s space industry was growing by leaps and bounds, electromagnetic pure iron manufactured in TISCO was more widely used to the key parts of air vehicles of China’s major aerospace projects such as lunar probe of “Chang’e moon exploration project”, “Shenzhou” series spaceships, “Long March” series of carrier rockets, “Tiangong I” and “Tiangong II” since TISCO pure iron was successfully used to “Shenzhou V” manned spaceship in 2003. Now, TISCO has been nominated as the electromagnetic pure iron supplier to China’s aerospace engineering.
 
TISCO electromagnetic pure iron was applied to not only the cutting-edge engineering of national defense work, but also industrial fields such as relays, instruments and direct current motors. TISCO wire and rod products were mainly used to the civil industry, take the absolute advantage at middle and high-end Chinese market and keep growing stably. In recent years, depending on the customer's requirements, TISCO newly developed ultra-low coercive force electromagnetic pure iron featuring more stable magnetism, better processing property and lower cost which has been widely used to work and life necessities in the fields of medical imaging, superconducting power generation and strong/weak magnetic field shielding of the communication devices.
