Recently, Taiyuan Customs granted STSS “Advanced Certified Enterprises” certificate, which is issued through strict assessment in accordance to Interim Measures of the Customs for Enterprise Credit Management (IMECM). STSS became one among all four enterprises with ACE certificate in Shanxi province since then.

 

IMECM come into effect on December 1, 2014. The Measures grades the customs-registration enterprises into Certified Enterprise, General-Credit Enterprise and Discredit Enterprise, among which Certified Enterprise includes Advanced Certified Enterprise and General Certified Enterprise. The ACE apply relatively low inspection rate, relatively simplified examination of documentation and clearance priority in processing clearance formalities in import & export. The ACE can also enjoy the favorable measures and clearance facilitation granted by the Customs administrations of foreign countries and regions covered by mutual recognition agreements with China, such as EU, South Korea, Singapore, Swiss and etc.. With further extension of mutual recognition agreements towards USA, Japan and Russia, customs clearance facilitation will be broaden accordingly. Moreover, 40 ministries and commissions, including NDRC, People’s Bank of China, SASAC and SAIC，issued MOU on United Stimulation to Customs ACE to stimulate unitedly the import & export credit enterprises. So, the ACE certificate brings TISCO a goodwill as well as huge business opportunities.
