TISCO Ranked China Top 500 Brands with its 15.574 Billion Yuan Brand Value

Recently, the World Brand Lab hosted the 14th World Brand Conference, where an analysis report on China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands of 2017 was released. Taiyuan Iron &Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. was once again on the list of China Top 500 Brands, with its brand value of 15.574 Billion Yuan, 2.61 billion Yuan elevated from 2016.
 
It’s reported that New York-based World Brand Lab is an international, professional and globally authoritative brand research institution. The president of the institution is Robert Mundell, a professor from Columbia University USA and also a Nobel laureate in economics, who is called Father of the Euro. Moreover, its experts and consultants are from world-class universities such as Harvard University, Yale University, MIT, Stanford University, Oxford University, Cambridge University and etc. China’s 500 Most Valuable Band list is formed based on financial analysis, consumer behavior analysis and brand strength analysis, research findings of which has been important basis for evaluation of intangible assets of an enterprise.
 
It should be attributed to TISCO’s consistent efforts that it received the honor. TISCO has always been insisting on innovation-driven, keeping elevating its supply power in products variety, quality and service to dominant the market. A batch of new high-tech products with high value-added has been successfully applied in key fields and emerging industries, i.e. from pen tip steel to HSR axle material, from stainless steel dedicated for nuclear power to special aerospace material for Shenzhou and Chang’e series, which lifted TISCO’s brand influence and brand value constantly.  So far, the product clusters, featuring high-efficiency, energy-saving and long lifetime, have been formed in TISCO, with stainless steel, cold rolled silicon steel and high-strength and high-toughness series steel as its main products. More than 20 varieties of products have top market shares; more than 30 varieties filled the domestic blanks and replaced the imports; the stainless steel export remains No.1 in China.
