Chinese Automaker BYD holds an annual supplier conference 2017 in Shenzhen. TISCO, who outperforms over one hundred competitors in aspects of quality and service, was awarded the title of best supplier by the conference holder.

 

TISCO and BYD, starting cooperation in 2017, both are committed to the localization of key raw material for new energy vehicles. The two companies collaborated in great detail in technical exchanges, product research and development, material test, trial production, system certification, and so on; until they successfully developed the high grade silicon steel for the NEV motors. As one of the core parts for NEV, the motor requires extreme excellence to the material property and geometry. Due to that reason, Chinese automakers used to fully import such material. The successful development of high grade silicon steel with internationally advanced quality by TISCO marks China can supply such material for its own new energy auto industry.

 

TISCO will deepen its cooperation with BYD in development and application of silicon steel, non-magnetic steel, stainless steel and other special steel for new energy vehicles. The two partners will definitely contribute more effort to the upgrade of Chinese manufacturing sector.
