TISCO group and Planning Institute of Metallurgy Industry (PIMI) signed a strategic cooperation agreement in the conference center of Garden Hotel on February 9th. GAO Xiangming, chairman, party secretary and general manager of TISCO group, and LI Xinchuang, party secretary and director of PIMI attended the meeting. CHAI Zhiyong, standing member of the party committee and deputy general manager of TISCO, WANG Lixin, chief economist of TISCO, FAN Tiejun, vice director of PIMI and related personnel from two sides joined the meeting.

 

GAO expressed the appreciation to PIMI for many years supports on strategic planning and green manufacturing of TISCO and introduced the overall operating situation and the achievements during innovation and optimization in the year of 2017. He pointed out that as the only Class A national specialized engineering consulting institute in iron and steel industry development planning and strategy research, Planning Institute of Metallurgy Industry had made great contribution to the development of China's iron and steel industry over the years. He hopes that the two sides continue to strengthen cooperation and make greater achievements to help TISCO to achieve a much higher development.

 

LI said that as 40 years of development, the business of PIMI has covered all fields in the whole flow of iron and steel industry with unique advantages of "one-stop" comprehensive consulting services. Especially in recent years, PIMI has made a lot of planning study focusing on industry transition such as industry layout, product upgrades, energy conservation and emissions reduction, resource security and industry chain extension. He believes that through the cooperation of both sides, PIMI can help the enterprise achieve a new progress in the key time of transformation and high quality development.

 

Before signing ceremony, the two sides made a thorough exchange in intelligent manufacturing, low carbon, logistics, standards and other business.
