Recently, the National Standards Committee issued a notice on carrying out state-level standard energy conservation demonstration projects. In the notice, 55 companies or organizations got their project approved, including “standardization demonstration of energy conservation during steel smelting”, a project filed by Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. and recommended by China Iron and Steel Industry Association.
In recent years, TISCO has taken the lead in popularizing and applying the most advanced circular economy technologies. The company has established a circular economy industrial chain which can completely recycle various wastes in solid, liquid and gaseous. At present, the company has owned a large number of competitive technologies, equipments and products regarding energy-saving and environmental protection with independent intellectual property rights, with some key technologies being of international advanced level. With all these achievements, TISCO has built itself a green demonstrative plant in metallurgical industry. Besides, its leading level indicators also make the company a leader in the industry. Those indicators include energy consumption per 10,000 RMB Yuan output value, comprehensive energy consumption per ton steel, fresh water consumption, smoke and dust emission, sulfur dioxide emission and COD emission, and so on.
In order to further consolidate its indicators and technologies, in 2017, TISCO began to implement the steel smelting energy conservation demonstration project, which aims at building an energy conservation standardization work system in line with the actual situation of the company.
The approved demonstration project will build a standard information service platform on the base of the company’s OA system, to publish the performance of each working procedure, instruct energy users to set standards, collect feedback on implementing standards, find and solve problems promptly.
By now, the service platform has been basically built up, with other work steadily progressing.
