Following the supply of core material for four plants of Lancang River hydro-power project, TISCO delivered high strength steel for the fifth plant, Lidi power plant. The delivery has been completed, with all products qualified in warehouse inspection and compliable with project requirements.

 

The Lancang River Lidi hydropower station, a national key project, is located in buddy township, Weixi county, Diqing prefecture, Yunnan province. It is the third-level power station planned for the seven-level development of the upper Lancang River. The reservoir of Lidi hydropower station has a total volume of 74.5 million cubic meters. It will set up three units of 127 MW and the total installed capacity is 420 MW. The project, which is now on the equipment installation stage, is invested and built by Huaneng Lancang Hydropower Development Co., Ltd. Lidi hydropower station, as an important part of the "Yunnan - Guangdong power transmission" strategy, is not only aiming at generating electricity, which of course is the main puropose of the project, but also helping migrants get rid of poverty and get rich. Therefore, the project plays a positive role in promoting local economic and social development.

 

Considering the extremely special specifications and strict acceptance criteria required by this project for its core component material, at present, only a handful of enterprises in China are capable of supplying the material. TISCO sales team actively contacted project contractor and present to client tailored solutions. TISCO formulated new technological process, used new equipment, and offered attractive deep-processing service for the customer. After several negotiations and tests, the company successfully produced qualified products.
