After a few minutes of video communication on April 25th, a new deal of over one thousand tons of stainless steel was ordered to TISCO Marketing Center. The highly effective order reflects once again the trust-worthy product quality and first-class service of the company.
On March 6th, a demand message for stainless steel plate came to TISCO. Korea was in pressing demand for CTS slab to construct negative-pressure quarantine facilities. Receiving the message, the TISCO market center made fast response. They completed the contract review in the shortest time and set up a special service team promptly to guarantee timely delivery. Facing with the transportation challenge caused by COVID-19 outbreak, the company organized its own production unit and logistics unit to manage to complete the fast packaging and timely shipment to customer’s assembly site. Meanwhile, the market center applied “green channel” for this order to escort the on time delivery. Under the common efforts and close collaboration, it took only 48 hours for TISCO to complete the delivery of the wide stainless steel plate used to make the new type of prefabricated CTS slab. TISCO speed was highly praised and affirmed by the customer.
Negative-pressure quarantine hospital rooms are critical and effective to safeguard the health and life of medical workers and patients. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, Korea ordered two hospitals from Chinese companies. One is cardiopulmonary negative pressure ward which is adapted to add floors. The other is negative pressure quarantine hospital which can accommodate 500 beds, known as “Huoshengshan” hospital of Korea. The two hospitals are designed to build with prefabricated panel of CTS slabs, which are made out of thin-walled core tubes, sandwiched between two steel plates. All the materials are pre-assembled and shipped as assembled. Compared with traditional reinforced concrete, the CTS slab has higher ductility, better earthquake resistance, shorter building time, but more difficult to transport. The wide stainless steel plate produced by TISCO for making the CTS slab has the strength as much as that of reinforced concrete, and as 5 times as that of common steel material. The plate can be cut to shapes adapted to building structures, making the buildings to resist any subsidence and magnitude 9 earthquake.
By supplying stainless steel material to the construction of Korean “Huoshengshan” hospital under the background of global contagion outbreak, TISCO make itself to be part of global effort to bravely fight against the global pandemic.
