TISCO’s land and mine assets management system put on line

Following one and a half years development, trial and over-all optimization, TISCO’s land and mine assets management system was officially put on line after passing the professional acceptance and review conducted by experts from Shanxi Provincial Natural Resources Administration and Taiyuan City Planning and Natural Resources Administration. It marks the company has set up a comprehensively advanced and inter-connected enterprise-level land and mine assets management system that leads the industry.

Land and mine resources is one the most essential production factor for an enterprise, making it critical to enterprise operation. With the progress of scientific technology, the abstract space attribute of land and mine resources become representable via geographic information platform, enabling the accurate, visible and dynamic management of property. TISCO had been struggling to improve the efficiency of management of its big-scale and valuable land and mine resources while lacking of professional and dedicated information management platform. To solve the problem, in December of 2019, TISCO board approved the investment plan for the land and mine assets management system project, which was proposed and led by TISCO Financial Department and contracted by TISCO Information and Automation Company.

After more than 18 month joint efforts, the system was put on line on January 26 this year. And after a period of smooth operation, it recently passed the experts acceptance and was applied to cover all of TISCO’s main plants and mine properties. Four function modes are included in the new system, namely resource map management system, business flow management system, professional office automation system, land and mine files system. The platform enables central management of basic data, project information, cost-expense-value data, assets life cycle, documents and files; as well as an all-around management of a property resource in terms of pre-planning, acquiring, utilization, asset disposal, ecology construction, risk control, and etc.

Space data visualization is the highlight of the system. The land resource map makes an accurate presentation of the properties owned by TISCO; the land and mine files system establishes an effective digital documents base; the expense data record system realizes value management to intangible assets and offers solid support to decision-making; the office automation system enables online assessment of land and mine related business, as well as automatic filing of assessment results. The system is said to be leading the industry and setting a benchmark for property information management sector.
