Recently, the winners of 2021 Metallurgical Science and Technology Award was announced. TISCO has five programs in the list of winners. The "Manufacturing Technology and Variety Development of High Quality Stainless Steel for Nuclear Power" won the first prize, and the other four, namely the "Development and Application of Technology for Mineral Processing of-19 μ m Iron Ore", the "Development and Industrial Application of Key Technical Equipment in Green Coking Process", the "Development of Sampling and Sample Preparation Standard for Steel Mechanical Performance Test" and the "Development of On-line Tilting Equipment and Technology of Metallurgical Vehicle-mounted Slag Tank", won the third prize.

Metallurgical Science and Technology Award, jointly launched and established by China Iron and Steel Association and China Metal Society, aims to promote scientific and technological progress and innovation in metallurgical industry, and is one of the important symbols representing the level of scientific and technological achievements in metallurgical industry. According to relevant standards, after strict evaluation, 113 projects were selected as the winner of 2021 Metallurgical Science and Technology Award, including 3 special prizes, 21 first prizes, 32 second prizes and 57 third prizes.

The award-winning programs are the best embodiment of TISCO's emphasis on the drive of scientific and technological innovation and its role as the main body of scientific and technological innovation in recent years, and have made outstanding contributions to comprehensively enhancing the company’s core competitiveness and brand image.
