TISCO Technology Center recently announced a good news, saying the Fundamental and Applicable Research Office has developed a sampling preparation and analysis method applicable for big and thin area of antibacterial stainless steel. The method enables quick analysis to copper-rich antibiotic phase, with a hitting rate of over 98%.
Health is an eternal topic of human beings. Many organizations set off research and development of various antibacterial products, amid increasing interests on health issues along with progress of social civilization. Antibacterial stainless steel, with combining characteristics of both structural materials and antibacterial function, can be used as structural materials and decorative materials that have the self-cleaning function. It provides a wide application prospect for antibacterial stainless steel in the fields of tableware, kitchenware, medical treatment, food processing, bathroom, and etc.
Micro-analysts of the Technical Center used diffraction imaging technology to analyze the copper-rich phase of antibacterial stainless steel. Based on the bright and dark field imaging technology of copper-rich antibiotic phase, a sample preparation and analysis method suitable for large and thin area of antibacterial stainless steel were developed.
The successful development of this experimental method has greatly improved the preparation efficiency of antibacterial stainless steel samples, shortened the analysis cycle from 7 days to 2 days, ended the history of "long waiting for report" before mass production, and accelerated the research and development process of new type high-end antibacterial stainless steel at TISCO.
