Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) officially released the list of green manufacturing in 2021. TISCO‘s "stainless steel for kitchen utensils (food contact/non-food contact)" has enabled the company the only stainless steel enterprise on the list. After a series of procedures including self-evaluation and third-party evaluation, there are 662 green factories, 989 kinds of green design products, 52 green industrial parks and 107 green supply chain management enterprises being registered on the list. Stainless steel produced by TISCO for kitchen application adopts a process featured with low energy consumption and less solid waste. The product is good at corrosion resistance, heat resistance and mechanical properties. The material is safe, reliable, hygienic, and environmentally friendly green, making it applicable for manufacturing the equipment of storage, washing, and conditioning, as well as dining utensils and large kitchen equipment.

In recent years, the MIIT has made great efforts to promote the construction of green manufacturing system, and successively issued programmatic documents such as Green Manufacturing Engineering Implementation Guide (2016-2020), the 14th Five-Year Plan for Industrial Green Development, etc., and made green factories, green design products, green parks and green supply chains the focus of the green manufacturing system. The products that are granted the title of “green design products” can use the green logos as per GB/T 32162-2015. Therefore, TISCO has further enhanced its brand image and popularity.

Aiming at the goal of "dual carbon" of the state and of China Baowu, TISCO will, during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, explore new steel manufacturing process, provide products with higher strength, longer service life and better efficiency for downstream users, promote the upgrading of steel used by downstream users, promote energy conservation and consumption reduction in downstream industries, reduce carbon emissions, expand the application of recyclable steel green design products, and substantially support the transmission to low-carbon economy.
