Following the pure iron for high-quality special steel with extremely low sulfur content, within less than 6 months, TISCO developed a new pure iron product, with key elements such as phosphorus, sulfur, titanium, oxygen, and etc. being accurately controlled to ppm level. The new product serves as a high-end pure iron base material for high-temperature alloys applicable for aviation, aerospace and other cutting-edge scientific and technological fields.

As a pioneer enterprise who takes the lead in developing pure iron in China, TISCO represents the manufacturing capability of the most advanced pure iron in the country. Pure iron is a traditional product of TISCO with high reputation and many honorable awards of provincial, ministerial and national levels. The product has the biggest output as well as market share in China over many years. And the Chinese national standards on electromagnetic pure iron and raw material pure iron were both drafted by TISCO. Since joining China Baowu, TISCO has got new impetus and strong vitality in scientific and technological innovation. Relying on the R&D platform and R&D innovation system of Academia Sinica, many research achievements continuously emerge one after another. TISCO pure iron team is adhering to the "market-oriented, site-oriented and future-oriented" principle, focusing on the tackling of key technologies, elaborately analyzing the balances among key control elements, so as to constantly achieve fruitful results, cultivate new profit growth points, promote the optimization and upgrade of pure iron product structure, and contribute scientific and technological power to the brand image of TISCO pure iron in the industry.

The successful development of pure iron series products applicable for special steel has effectively solved the "neck sticking" problem of lacking of high-end alloy pure iron materials. It is of great significance for improving the performance of key components of important projects and aerospace equipment.
