Recently, TISCO successfully completed the trial production of the first batch of economical stainless steel designed for the coal industry. The performance of these products fully meets the standards required by the coal sector, marking a significant differentiation of TISCO's economical stainless steel products in the coal industry and promoting the industry's shift towards a cleaner, low-carbon future.
Compared to traditional carbon steel materials, stainless steel is more challenging to strengthen and generally comes at a higher price, which limits its further adoption in the coal industry. Facing these difficulties and challenges, the TISCO steel research and development team for the coal sector leveraged their advantages in production, sales, research, and the entire industrial chain. They conducted an in-depth study of the mechanisms behind stainless steel strengthening, overcoming a series of technical challenges such as cost control, high-strength control, and plate shape control. They successfully completed the trial production of the first batch of economical stainless steel coils for the coal industry. These products have significantly improved strength, greatly reduced overall process costs, and meet the real needs of users for high strength and low-carbon cost reduction.
