In active response to China’s national “Dual Carbon” strategy, Taigang proactively engaged in the R&D of steel materials for the transportation of supercritical carbon dioxide and other media. Through close collaboration with downstream pipe manufacturers, the company successfully trial-produced hot-rolled steel plates for welded pipes used in supercritical CO₂ transmission—marking the first domestic application of such products. Furthermore, Taigang secured the bid for China’s first and largest supercritical CO₂ pipeline project, which features the longest length, largest diameter, highest pressure, and greatest transmission capacity to date.
