A report sourced from Korean media was published by some newspaper and other media of China, which stated that a KS certificate was retracted from TISCO due to unqualified rebar produced by the company found among the export to Korea. Hereby, TISCO, the company, solemnly declares that:

 

1.The company doesn’t produce rebar for general construction use at present. It has neither applied for a KS certificate nor exported any rebar to Korea.

 

2.The company, the biggest stainless steel producer in the world and the biggest special steel producer in China, mainly produces high-end products, include plate, bar and wire rod of special steel grade, especially of stainless steel grade, and has a great reputation in the international market. The stainless steel rebar produced by the company, with globally leading technology and quality, has been certified by UK CARES and delivered to Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge construction project.

 

3.Quality is deemed as a moral and lifeline of the company by TISCO. For years, with the mission of supplying the most delicate stainless steel to worldwide customers in mind, the company has constantly innovated in quality management. The company was awarded “National Quality Prize” for twice and the Incentive Prize of the first “Quality Awards from Chinese Government”. Its quality management mode centering on six-sigma concept has become a benchmark of the industry.

 

We feel sorry for those media who published the inauthentic report which impaired the reputation and fame of TISCO products without examining the truth beforehand. The company reserves its right to seek any legal action.
