TISCO Pickling-free Products Knocking the Door to High-end Automobile Market

After one year’s effort, TISCO independently developed pickling-free steel for automobile use has been ready for mass production.

Quickly growing automobile industry asks the producers to use steel material with better performance, especially better surface quality for key parts of the car. In the past, such steel material was not available in domestic market and had to be imported from abroad. Last July, a pickling-free steel coil processing line was put into production in TISCO. That is the first line of this kind in China. Through this line, the steel products will get much better quality compared to traditional treatment.

With its advanced pickling-free technology, TISCO Hot Strip Mill defines high-end car and car parts producers as its target customers. High-end automobile steel is a kind of product with high level technology, high added value and promising market prospect. To better popularize this product, a marketing engineer team and a product engineer team are set up to stimulate sales and develop markets; product solutions and market proposals are worked out to serve the customers; the development progress of new products are tracked to ensure efficiency and speed.

At present, TISCO Hot Strip Mill has already had the capability for mass production of pickling-free high-end automobile steel. Its products are now undergoing trial use in a well-know car producer in China, which is a decisive occasion for its wide application in high-end automobile manufacturing.
