At the time of Chinese Lunar New Year, on the morning of Feb. 16th. 2015, Mr. Li Xiao Bo, Chairman of Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. and Mr. Zhou Yi Zhou, Deputy President of Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. as well as top administration concerned came to TISCO Technology Center to express his sympathy and solicitude for scientists and engineers who are working hard for TISCO over the years and show his blessings of Lunar New Year on behalf of company top management and administration.

At the meeting of conversation and discussion with these scientists and engineers, Mr. Li Xiao Bo pointed out that science and technology work was so important and scientists and engineers were the significant force and valuable wealth to push ahead the development of company. In 2014, we made hard-won achievements in our company under the extremely difficult circumstances, including your great contributions of scientists and engineers present. Li Xiao Bo said that currently, even though the economy in our country was still at strategic opportunity, the essence and connotation of Chinese economy changed a lot, and science driving and efficiency driving were of sovereign importance. If the force of science and technology of enterprise was strong and new technology of science was well-utilized with special development characteristics, this enterprise would definitely adapt to the New-Normal, leading the new-normal. We could not change the relationship of market supply and demand and we were unable to control or forecast the rise and fall of steel products, but we can get acclimatized to the new-normal, leading the new normal and pushing forward the competitiveness of company to a higher level uniquely depending on the superiority of distinctive varieties and super-hard quality advantage of steel products.

Li Xiao Bo was looking forward to more scientific and technical achievements in the new year for TISCO. He said that, facing the stern situation and heavy task, we scientists and engineers should establish the enormous sense of historical mission, sense of responsibility and sense of honor to show their own talents through industrious working; unseasingly escalading on the scientific road; fighting for the glory and the enterprise; giving an impetus to the swift development and growth in our company; persisting in catering to the market and clients for the development of longevity and high efficient and energy saving products and produce the satisfied products for the clients via optimization of internal production procedures; enhancing learning and research; laying stress on fundamental study and inherent mechanism; improving and perfecting the process and technical specifications; creating the mood of excelsior and meticulocity in order to advance the competitiveness of the enterprise in science and technology abd innovation.
