New Achievement in Technology Export

At 11:16 of April 20^th, the No. 1 lime kiln of Toksun Energy Company, Zhongtai Chemicals Group was successfully ignited. It indicates that Taigang Engineering Technology Company Limited, as the prime contractor of the project, has reaped the fruitfulness in its technology export. Within one month, No. 2 and No. 3 kilns will also be put into production one after another.

As Chinese government gives full support to the development of Xinjiang region, the Toksun Energy Company of Zhongtai Chemicals Group carries out its strategic plan in this area--- it makes good use of local resources by implementing the calcium carbide project, it conducts the circular economy development by fully utilizing the energy produced in the transformation of limestone – lime - calcium carbide - calcium carbide furnace gas. The first phase of the project is designed to produce 600,000 tons calcium carbide per year. Besides, 3 sets of lime kilns with daily production capacity of 600 tons each and annual output of 600,000 tons of high grade lime in total will be installed.

Shanxi Taigang Engineering Technology Co., Ltd has excellent expertise in lime kiln project construction. It had cooperated with Zhongtai Chemicals Group twice, namely in 2011 and 2012, with 3 sets and 2 sets of twin-chamber kilns installed separately. The kilns are now running stably with products in good quality. Toksun project is another EPC project gained by the company, who is responsible for the engineering of the whole project, as well as all the procurement and construction excluding civil work. This project is featured with heat accumulation and energy-conservation technology, fully automated control technology, enclosed dust treatment technology, scientific layout and logistic design, and equipment configuration adapted to local climate.

Toksun County is located in the Turpan Depression of China, with a drastically tough living condition. It is featured with a drought climate all year around. The peak temperature can be 50 Celsius degree in the mid-summer. Historically recorded wind power density is up to 13. Sometimes so much sand carried by strong wind piles up in front of people’s house that they cannot open the door from inside. However, all those difficulties did not stop TISCO team from finishing the project in 13 months. Three sets of lime kilns which are energy conservative, environment friendly and highly efficient are installed in the Toksun Industrial Park at sea level.
