Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. – Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group Agreement on Rail Transit Cooperation” signing ceremony held

On 11 September 2015 Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. – Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group Agreement on Rail Transit Cooperation” signing ceremony was held in the conference center, International Garden Hotel. Present in the meeting are, Wang Lixin, the assistant to general manager of Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. Yan Yaozhou, the general manager of Rail Transit Corporation under Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group, and those in charge of the department and business concerned.

Wang Lixin, said on the ceremony, that ever since TISCO’s railway steel development started in 1998 TISCO has been centering on business transformation and upgrading while following up the internationally and nationally dominant rail development trend that lead to a quickened pace in technical innovations and new product research and development, the rail axle steel being produced so far in series and on a commercial scale basis. The cooperation between Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. and Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group on railway axle production dated back long before, in that Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group has been an all-time witness and much more than that a major supporter. It has to be noted that in recent years both parties worked together and successfully developed the rail axle steel for heavy-duty application and high-speed train, which is highlighted on the page of China railway development history. We wish to take this occasion of cooperation agreement signing ceremony as a new starting point to further cement and intensify cooperation. We aim to a heightened research and development level in synergy by giving a full play to each side’s advantages and sharing sources, turning a new page of win-win development.

Yan Yaozhou addressed afterwards that Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. and Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group have been well cooperated on railway axle production these years and that cooperation contributed to the nationalization of China’s national high-speed train. Looking to the future we wish to establish a closer strategic partnership relationship with TISCO group by standardizing and institutionalizing the cooperation. We look forward to the combination of strength by TISCO’s technical R&D capability on the one hand and Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group’s manufacturing capability on the other for a wider range cooperation, enabling railway axle research and development and production to be up to international leading level.
