STSS Passes the Site Survey for Weapon License Renewal

 

Site survey experts team for research and manufacturing license of weapon equipment (hereinafter “license”) from State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense made a site survey to TISCO from January 19 to 21 on its request of license renewal. Officers from Shanxi Province Science, Technology and Industry Office for National Defense, STSS general manager Zhang Zhifang and vice general manager Gao Jianbin, as well as principals from related units and plants attended the meeting.

 

The surveyors reviewed STSS in aspects of technologies, human resources, safety and confidentiality according to related regulations in researching and manufacturing of weapons in China. The experts’ consensus was that the documents and materials submitted by STSS for the renewal of license were true, complete and valid, and the company was qualified for the license. All the three metal material subjects applied by the company got approval. The officer from Shanxi Province Science, Technology and Industry Office for National Defense extended his congratulations on STSS’s success and delivered his hope for STSS’s role on national defense and state development.

 

Zhang Zhifang thanked the survey team for their hard work on behalf of STSS. He stated that, weapon research, which was different from other general research subjects, was a solemn task connected to the security and development of a nation. Zhang said the company possessed superiorities in technology, capability, and management experience in the research and production of weapon; while such possession could not be gained without the support from government, instructions from experts and cares from all the friends. He added that this site survey was considered as an overall and profound examine to the company, the suggestions and instructions given by the experienced experts would be treated by the company in an earnest manner.
