TISCO Closely Watches High-end Market to Boost Brand Popularity


 
In TISCO Workers’ Congress, the Secretary-general and Chairman Li Xiaobo joined panel discussion with the delegates from Stainless Steel Hot Rolling Mill, calling for concerted efforts to build brand awareness and brand image. The plant directors took no hesitate to move. Targeting at the two missions set up in TISCO’s two sessions, i.e. “lifting competitiveness in product variety and quality” and “lifting the brand popularity”, the plant staff has affirmed their resolution.
 
The specific measures to be carried out by the plant to complete the missions include five aspects. Firstly, identify customers’ demands, extend technical service, and take part into the product application. Only by accurately identifying customers’ demands during the pre-sales and after-sales stages, can we recommend to the customers what they exactly need. During the product application, voluntary technical service and instruction should be offered to customers. For conventional products, personalized customers demands should be met; and for special varieties, new customers, new applications, and high-value-added orders should be focused on. Secondly, stably improve the quality of stainless steel plate. In order to do that, a special team will be set up to investigate the bottlenecks that constrain the product quality improvement and to work out solutions in aspects of facility accuracy, technology process as well as accurate operation. The target for this year is to lower the defective product ratio by 50%. Thirdly, optimize production organizing and lift production efficiency. Responsibility of each post will be revised to realize the links between product indexes and production lines. The expected scenario is that all and each employee takes care of the product indexes. Meanwhile, real-time monitoring to production, in-time collection of production data, speeding-up of logistics, and improvement of orders fulfillment ratio will be done. Fourthly, establish brand awareness among all the employees by the aids of policy guidance and by popularizing “earnest spirit” and “accuracy culture”. And fifthly, continuously improve stimulation mechanism as per the requirement of “fostering craftsmanship in modern production activity” and promote “golden employee” selection campaign, to inspire employees’ impetus on quality and their brand awareness.
 
The plant directors call for united hearts and powers to strengthen brand awareness, concretely fulfill each order, build a reliable brand image among all customers, closely keep eyes on high-end market, gain the customers’ faith and the company’s future with braveness and courage, so as to survive the winter encountered by steel industry.
