TISCO Nuclear Power Plant Steel Breaks Into The International Market

Recently, an oceangoing freighter loaded with 500 tons of TISCO nuclear power plant steel left slowly away from Tianjing port for the nuclear power plant K2 and K3 in Karachi , Pakistan. This is the first time for TISCO to supply the nuclear power products as the raw material to overseas nuclear power plant

 

In the past years, TISCO seized the new opportunity of the development in nuclear power industry at home and abroad, stuck to independent innovation, broke through a series of technical challenges, took the lead in development and production of special stainless steel and cold rolled silicon steel which features high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance and corrosion resistance. This is how TISCO became the only one enterprise that can supply the second and a half generation of nuclear power project with the whole set of nuclear level stainless steel. At the same time, TISCO became the first company who successfully developed the 304, 304H ultra-thick stainless steel plate and high strength clad plates and duplex stainless steel plates which were used on the third generation of self-designed demonstration nuclear reactor project CAP1400 , as well as the only manufacturer in China to produce the special stainless steel as well as the third generation of nuclear power reactor components. With the successful development and production of silicon steel that used on ultra super-critical million kilowatts nuclear power plant, TISCO took the lead of Chinese steel industry in manufacturing the cold rolled silicon steel with thick coating and high steel grade.

 

Recently, TISCO has become an important production base of nuclear power steel in China playing an important role in stopping long-term import and promoting the development of domestic manufacturing of the key materials for nuclear power plants.
