TISCO Obtains Environmental Responsibility Information Disclosure Award

The 9^th International Workshop on China Corporation Social Responsibility was held in Shanghai on Dec 1. At the conference, Golden Bee Study on China CSR Report 2016 was released. The report gives assessment and analysis on 1,328 of 2613 social responsibility reports issued in the first 10 months of this year in Mainland China, revealing the latest ten trends of China’s CSR reports. TISCO is granted the CSR Environmental Responsibility Information Disclosure Award, as the only winner of this award.   

 

To encourage Chinese enterprises to issue more excellent CSR reports, since 2009, China WTO Tribune has collected CSR reports nationwide and organized Golden Bee

Campaigns to evaluate the reports for 8 consecutive years, offering a professional platform for excellent CSR reports and enterprises, as well as a reference for those who are preparing CSR reports.

 

TISCO integrates its fulfillment of CSR with the strategy of sustainable development to establish the core idea of social responsibility: creating excellent quality with rustless wisdom to satisfy the related interested parties. It has been exploring and improving social responsibility management system and working mechanism to integrate fully social responsibility into the whole process of corporate operation management, which has promoted personnel’s consciousness higher to fulfill social responsibility and kept improving corporate public transparency. The environment responsibility information disclosure of TISCO’ CSR report was highly commented at the conference, and was considered as a representative for information disclosure of environment responsibility with high quality. With “green development” as its theme, the report uses plain and simple words, vivid cases and detailed and accurate data to clarify how to realize the organic integration of energy saving and emission reduction & circular economy industry chain.

 

The conference is jointly hosted by China WTO Tribune, China Business Council for Sustainable Development, and Sweden embassy in China. The participants discussed and gave interpretations in depth to the meeting subjects, such as the latest development trend for global social responsibility report, corporate responsibility communication methods, values of CSR reports, Chinese corporate overseas social responsibility information disclosure and responsibility communication and mass communication, and so on.
