Three Main Categories Products from TISCO Approved by BIS

After one week on-spot audit and assessment, TISCO’s 3 main categories of products, i.e. stainless steel, silicon steel and carbon steel passed on-spot audit done by certification experts from BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards). It makes TISCO the first Chinese stainless steel producer approved by BIS, symbolizing that TISCO’s main products has made an important step forward to India and peripheral high-end markets as well.

BIS, the only one authorized body for standardization and certification in India, is responsible for conducting product certification. The product approved by BIS will be labeled with “ISI” mark, which has wide influence and good reputation in India and surrounding countries, being a reliable guarantee for product quality. In another word, customers can trust the product with ISI mark as it means the product is in compliance with Indian relevant standards.

During the field audit, an overall audit and assessment have been made to TISCO’s related production equipments, testing equipments, process management, raw material quality control, dispute management, and etc. Moreover, random sampling and testing has been performed among 3 main categories products of more than 20 types and specifications. The tested product samples complied with the requirements of standards and quality management system in terms of product composition, performance and dimension, and passed the on-site audit, according to the certification experts.
