TISCO duplex stainless steel steps into European high-end market

At the beginning of this year, a good news came from the duplex stainless steel market: TISCO got a new order from a famous German tube manufacturer on the duplex stainless steel products which would be used to international petrol chemical project. It marks a new step of TISCO towards the international high-end manufacturing field after TISCO’s duplex stainless steel products successfully took the place of the imported one that TISCO exported duplex stainless steel products in batches into European high-end market .

 

With high strength, high corrosion resistance and super welding property, the duplex stainless steel is honored as the exquisite steel and used to high-end production industries such as special construction, chemical tanker, nuclear projects, petrol chemical, ocean engineering, etc. The high-end market has been occupied by a few foreign companies for a long period due to the high skill and the difficulty of production. In the past time, TISCO supplied only the raw material of duplex stainless steel to the local manufacturer. It was only a kind of indirect exportation. Now, TISCO exports duplex stainless steel products in batches into European high-end market. The international high-end manufacturers not only acknowledged TISCO’s product quality but also fully affirmed TISCO’s high strength of technical research and development, complete quality assurance system and super supporting service.

 

At present, TISCO produces the complete series of the products ranging from medium plates, coiled plates and thin plates to steel profiles, tube blank and forged parts which was used successfully to high-end fields such as the Three Gorges Project, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the nuclear power plant and petrochemical projects. In 2016, the duplex stainless steel used to 10000 ton chemical tankers was produced in China for the first time. The transformation and upgrading of Chinese key special material and manufacturing industry was strongly supported.
