TISCO high-speed heavy-duty and high-quality export axle steel won the "China Iron and Steel Industry Product Development Market Exploitation Award"

Recently, organized by the China Iron and Steel Industry Association, the 2016 "China Iron and Steel Industry Product Development Market Exploitation Award" appraisal and selection results announced, TISCO high-speed heavy-duty and high-quality export axles steel are on the list.

 

The award-winning high-speed heavy-duty and high-quality export axle steel is the result of TISCO's positive response to the demand of national railway construction development, and the active achievement derived from development of high-end railway steel with independent intellectual property rights. Through the in-depth study on material analysis, metallurgical process, equipment control and so on, the key indexes of purity, strength and toughness etc. of TISCO R & D high-speed and high-quality export axle steel, meet or exceed international advanced level. Products successfully passed the China Railway Corporation, the North American Railway Association, the United States GE, Canada Bombardier, France Alstom, Germany, ROK and other national railway sector quality certification, and achieve the first use, substitutes for imported goods domestically. At present, axles manufactured with the TISCO products have been exported to the United States, Germany, France, Japan, ROK, Canada and other countries and regions.

 

In recent years, with the development of the national economy, China's railway construction enters into the high-speed development stage, but some key components still rely on imported materials. As an important production base of national rail steel, TISCO has always dedicated to promote industrial transformation and upgrading, focusing on international and domestic railway development trends, relying on the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Stainless Steel and Shanxi Railway Steel Engineering Research Center, independently research and develop, and mastered a number of core technologies. Currently, TISCO has formed a strategic product cluster of energy-saving and efficient long-life railway steel such as railroad freight car stainless steel plate, high-speed railway wheel and axle steel, urban rail transit, made important contributions to continuously improvement of the level of railway equipments in China.

 

"China Iron and Steel Industry Product Development Market Exploitation Award" is the award established by China Iron and Steel Industry Association in recognition of the iron and steel enterprises in developing new varieties, improving product quality, expanding the production of high-grade steel products, promoting deep processing and substituting imports, improving domestic and international steel market share and other aspects. The award is appraised and elected once a year, in 2016, a total of eight kinds of products received this award.
