TISCO won the bid on its march to the Northwest new energy projects

Recently, a high-end heat-resistant stainless steel plate project order from the Northwest solar thermal power generation demonstration project delighted TISCO marketing staff. The "Glad tidings" opened the history of TISCO's entry into the Northwest new energy project, marking the initial establishment of the whole industry chain development model of TISCO's Northwest new energy project.

 

In recent years, in response to the background of global warming, solar thermal power generation has become a hot spot in the field of renewable energy development and application. China's western Qinghai, northern Ningxia, northern Gansu, southern Xinjiang and other regions, are rich in solar energy resources. In the "Thirteenth Five-year" plan, China will actively promote the construction of 1.5 million kilowatts of solar photovoltaic power generation demonstration base; by 2020, solar thermal power installed capacity will reach 5 million kilowatts. Molten salt solar thermal power plant will use a large number of corrosive sodium nitrate and potassium nitrate mixed molten salt; the components of the plant such as evaporator, superheater, high temperature molten salt tank and other equipments must operate in the 540 ℃ ~ 580 ℃ high temperature for 25 to 30 years. The molten salt solar thermal power plant is located in the sunshine resource rich areas, the temperature decreases at night when there will be condensation phenomenon, which requires molten salt solar thermal power plant to be bound to use a large amount of high-performance stainless steel.

 

Northwestern China is a concentrated place of China's solar thermal power projects, many domestic and foreign steel mills want to share a piece of the projects, and competition is fierce. TISCO has a wealth of production experience and strong technical force, and owns highly competitive edge in the field of stainless steel material. How to play the competitive advantage to its best? TISCO formed a bid consortium with engineering construction enterprises with EPC (Design-Procurement-Construction), which directly became the supplier of materials in the form of general contracting.

 

In the bidding process, northwest regional marketing staff of TISCO Marketing Department Stainless Steel Section II communicated with PCCC and CEEC Designing Institute repeatedly to form a new energy technology comprehensive cooperation mechanism, and established development projects consortium with Northwest key new energy equipment manufacturing enterprises, integrated in depth, jointly participate in the Northwest solar thermal power demonstration project bidding; the one plus one more than two effects have been fully reflected.
