Led by the TISCO, participated by Changsha Mining and Metallurgy Research Institute, China Metallurgical Northern Design Co., Ltd. and other well-known scientific research institutes, these units jointly conducted the research of "fine particles complex refractory hematite and magnetic mixing iron ore dressing technology development and 22 million t / a equipment integration ", which lasted for eight years to make the results of innovation into real productive forces, achieve a large-scale industrial development and utilization of sluggish resources, built TISCO Yuanjiacun iron ore mine the largest scale, the highest level of technology and equipment in Asia.
The innovation of the project is that the independent development of the "ore body + mineral + grade + iron silicate minerals" multi-factor sampling technology, weak magnetic - strong magnetic - "leap-type return" reverse flotation process, thickening-overflow clarification-ultrafiltration three-level water treatment technology and the middlings concentration control technology, etc.; a series of production technology patented technology and proprietary technology creatively solve the problems that impact flotation separation, such as multi kinds iron minerals and gangue minerals, fine size iron ore embedded grain, small difference between iron ore and gangue mineral floatability, high mud content of primary and secondary ore; and innovation through the equipment and efficient integration solves a series of industrial application problems such as micro-grain grinding, grading, sorting, enrichment , etc.
The scientific and research achievement of TISCO Yuanjiacun iron ore mine’s "fine particles complex refractory hematite and magnetic mixing iron ore dressing technology development and 22 million t / a equipment integration " has complete independent intellectual property rights, which was authorized 41 patents, including 25 invention patents, more than 30 published academic papers, two enacted enterprise standards, won the China Metallurgical Science and Technology Award special award, China Metallurgical Mine Science and Technology Award first prize, Shanxi Science and Technology Award for scientific and technological progress first prize. Appraised by Sun Chuanyao, Qiu Guanzhou, Yu Yongfu, Cai Meifeng and other academicians and experts, this achievement has reached the leading international level. At present, the project has been recommended by the Science and Technology Department of Shanxi Province to declare the National Science and Technology Award.
The implementation of the project effectively alleviate the pressure of domestic iron ore imports, supports the sustainable development of China's iron and steel industry. The whole set of high efficiency beneficiation technology fills the large-scale fine-grained complex refractory iron ore dressing technology gaps, has demonstration effect to the domestic fine particles refractory mineral resources development and utilization.
