STSS WRAP Line workshop selected national "2017 intelligent manufacturing pilot"

In order to implement the "China Manufacturing 2025" overall deployment, in accordance with the "Intelligent Manufacturing Development Plan (2016 - 2020)" requirements, recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued "2017 Intelligent Manufacturing Pilot Demonstration Project", the steel industry has three project shortlisted, " STSS WRAP Line Digital Workshop Project" successfully selected.

 

STSS "Stainless Steel WRAP Line Intelligent Workshop Project", is to comprehensively enhance the decision-making level, management level and management efficiency of stainless steel WRAP Line workshop. The project improves production efficiency, product quality, reduces production costs, saves energy consumption, ensures safe production, green production, and improves customer satisfaction. This project dynamically integrates the intelligent decision-making, intelligent management, intelligent control and intelligent equipment, to build the stainless steel WRAP Line intelligent workshop.

 

STSS stainless steel WRAP Line unit makes breakthrough on the restrictions of traditional individual mode production, and for the first time highly integrated six technologies in a unit, five-stand continuous rolling mill, long continuous annealing line, long pickling line, online leveling, online stretching&straightening, online cutting and slitting. The production line reaches equipment localization rate of 90% or more, is the world's modern stainless steel production line with the highest equipment integration and production efficiency, best energy saving and environmental protection, and lowest operating cost. The stainless steel WRAP Line workshop achieves the dynamic optimization of all its operation process. The manufacturing information and management information throughout is transparent and shared, which meets the fine management needs of the personalized customization, achieves the closed-loop of product data information from R&D, design, production and improvement, and promotes continuous product innovation. Compared with the traditional process, WRAP Line workshop has personnel savings of 50%, 40% increase in production efficiency, yield ratio increased by 4%, process paper savings of 75%.

 

"Intelligent Manufacturing Development Plan (2016-2020)" points out that in the key areas and industries, where basic conditions are good, and the needs are urgent, the nation will select the backbone enterprises, focusing on the discrete intelligent manufacturing, process-based intelligent manufacturing, network co-manufacturing, mass customization, etc., to carry out a new model pilot demonstration of intelligent manufacturing, to form effective experience and model. By 2020, more than 300 intelligent manufacturing pilot demonstration projects will be established. From 2015 onwards, the MIIT has announced three batches of intelligent manufacturing pilot demonstration projects successively, as of now, there are 208 projects selected, of which the steel industry has a total of six projects from five enterprises were classified as intelligent manufacturing pilots.
