TISCO stainless steel cold tandem rolling project wins national quality engineering award

"2016-2017 national quality engineering award ceremony" sponsored by China Association of Construction Enterprise Management was held in Beijing Great Hall of the People on December 13. "TISCO Stainless steel cold tandem rolling revamping project” won the national quality engineering award.

 

TISCO Stainless steel cold tandem rolling project completed and put into production in June 2014, is the "twelfth five-year" key project of Shanxi Province. At the beginning of the project preparation, TISCO has put forward the goal to achieve the national quality award. For this purpose, TISCO made the engineering design based on the principle of main equipment manufactured and assembled domestically with key part imported from abroad. In the cause of process integration, plant selection and bidding, equipment installation and commissioning, TISCO, by adhering to high standards and strict management, adopted thirteen patents, three new methods and two new technology, and finally realize its goal on safety, quality, time limit for a project, schedule and cost. The project has significantly improved the production efficiency and the quality level of TISCO stainless steel products with emission index reached the international advanced level for comprehensive energy consumption of per ton steel reduced by 6.55% and the energy recovery increased by 6.8%. Through the project TISCO can produce a series of high-end stainless steel materials applied in railway, automobile, petrochemical, nuclear power, engineering machinery, household appliances, medicine, food processing, coinage and other industries and fields needed, which can replace the imported products completely.

 

TISCO stainless steel cold tandem rolling project, of which the process technology has creates many world first and localization rate of the whole line equipment is more than 90%, is a modern stainless steel production line for its superiority on integration level, production efficiency, energy conservation and operating cost among the world. The project has once won the first prize of outstanding engineering in metallurgical industry and the quality award in metallurgical industry in 2015.

 

The national quality engineering award is the highest honor for China project construction quality. The award involves construction, railway, highway, chemical industry, metallurgy, electric power and other engineering construction fields, by evaluating the quality of all construction procedures from project approval to project completion and acceptance.
